LES FLAMES! NEWS 13/8/03

It's all cracking off for the boys and girl in les Flames! at the minute. The final plaudits for last single 'Mutley 1 From Essex / Professional Stalker' are been dragged in, and the onslaught for 'Commitment To Excellence' - their new single with Little Japanese Toy as part of the Wrath Super Sevens - is just beginning. With the release date for the latter now confirmed as Monday 1st September (through Shellshock), and a full re-release of 'Mutley...' expected later in the month, the crazy French kids will be causing havoc round the UK on the following dates in September:

SUN 14 - MANCHESTER RETRO BAR (In The City - Urban Glastonbury with special guest DJs)
TUES 16 - BRIGHTON FREEBUTT
WED 17 - OXFORD WHEATSHEAF
THURS 18 - BATH MOLES (Purr / Wrath Special with Beachbuggy, The Scaramanga Six + Electrocute)
FRI 19 - HALES VILLAGE HALL
SAT 20 - LEEDS JOSEPHS WELL (Wrathstonbury)
TUES 23 - SHEFFIELD CASBAH (with The Glitterati)
WED 24 - WAKEFIELD ESCOBAR (with Chris T-T)

But if you can't wait till then, les Flames! have just been confirmed to appear at LEEDS CARLING WEEKEND FESTIVAL. All details to be confirmed, so keep checking www.lesflames.com, but it will most likely be horrendously early on the Friday or Saturday on the Comedy Stage.

Also worth a note is that les Flames! spent 2 days in the studio last month and have knocked out a mighty 9 tracks for release some time later in they year. "Don't know how, don't know when" - but if they get their collective arses in gear, there might be a CD EP/LP by the end of the year.
