Wrath 2nd Birthday Party

A big shout out to all who came to the recent Wrath 2nd Birthday Party on Friday 9th January 2004 which was a jolly decent affair. The venue was a small but perfectly formed cellar bar at The George in Leeds and by the landlords' reconing was "well exceeding the safety capacity" How rock is that?

The turnout was surprising mainly because of the total lack of effort in promoting the event. There wasn't a theme as such this year - merely booze and DJs - which was actually quite refreshing. The last thing you want is to be bombarded with Wrath propaganda as you walk through the door.

A special thank you goes to all who tried their hand DJing that evening - particularly DJ Warren and Whiskas who seemed to cover everything from gloomy post pop to Chas n' Dave.

The whole night was a fantastic way to celebrate the label's achievements since its conception at the start of 2002 - Yes, two years ago it was all just a twinkle in the eyes of a few dogged musicians in some pub - two years on and it is now a more than hundred-strong gathering of musicians, promoters, press, punters, friends and ..er...les Flames!

So keep supporting us and turning up to Wrath do's and we'll keep churning out the records...
